Bear Market Definition
Bear Market
A
market condition where there is widespread pessimism and everyone is selling
and driving down prices. Many market participants dread bear markets,
especially who have bought stocks at high and unreasonable valuations (Price
to Earnings Ratio).
However,
Value Investors consider it a God sent gift to accumulate shares of wonderful,
high dividend paying companies at throwaway prices.
